— Considering the amount of loads on transport in taxi fleet, the choice of engine oil is essential. Previously, we were using motor oils by various manufacturers, 4-5 widely known by a costumer brands were passed through our maintenance workshop.

There were pros and cons, therefore the search for the “picture-perfect” continued. That’s why, when Total offered its lubricants for the test, we agreed without further thinking, —. says Maxim Sarsenov, the founder of taxi fleet.
There is no secret that the taxi has the highest workload among all the transport. Especially in Almaty with a seasonal inland climate, uphill climbs and roads with a different quality…A daily distance is usually around 250km.

Consequently, there is cost-effectiveness on oil itself and oil filters. To say that we were satisfied is not enough, - concluded Maxim. After two first months, an oil analysis was conducted in an independent accredited laboratory ANAC. According to the results, all the physicochemical parameters of the oils changed only within the permissible values. Motor oil showed excellent resistance to thermal-oxidative, good dispersant and washing capabilities. We profited on easy start at the wither due to good low temperature performances. Wear metals content was in the limit. While the drain interval was doubled (from 7 000 km to 15 000km), no failure related to the lubricant was not detected.
